General for Week Commencing: Monday 03 August 2026

Aries    Aries Monday 03 August 2026  Mar 21 - Apr 19
In between last week’s Full Moon and next week’s eclipsing New Moon, things are more settled or at least with a chance to catch your breath before from Friday, within the space of five days all three of the faster planets will change position. While the main themes of the year are now locked into place, these are the planets that influence the current themes at any given time and they are constantly on the move, though not all within the space of just five days. It begins on Friday when after four weeks in your work sector, Venus leaves and returns to your relationship sector to begin the first planetary activity on the relationship front since last year. It is three days later that next Monday, over two months after returning for what is normally a 14 to 15 day visit, Mercury will leave your home and family sector in order to join the Sun and Jupiter in a playful and creative part of your chart. It is a day later that Mars will leave your communication sector and take over from where Mercury leaves off, though not before staying on to keep the communication lines open during Venus’ early days in your relationship sector.

Taurus    Taurus Monday 03 August 2026  Apr 20 - May 20
As if marking their territory, after last week’s standoff that put the lunar nodes’ new policing of your work/life balance to the test, both sides are back to their own corner. It was in the heart of the Sun’s first full week in your home and family sector and just as his alignment with Jupiter here had peaked, that the Moon clashed with both as a Full Moon. This is something that at some point during the Sun’s month long visit will always put your work/life balance to the test. However, at a point in the professional year when things are more active than they normally would be and just as the lunar nodes had returned to begin their own monitoring. While the Sun will continue to keep the solar spotlight on matters of the heart and on the early months of what Jupiter is working to make a big year for home, family and/or property matters, something special is brewing on the income, work and career fronts. It is just as the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment has reached her last full week in your career sector and Mars his last in your income sector, that Venus’ return to your work sector on Friday will begin the first planetary activity on the job front this year.

Gemini    Gemini Monday 03 August 2026  May 21 - Jun 21
While the Moon will leave your career sector on Monday, this is more than just a chance to move into the new working week and into Mercury’s last week in your income sector with your professional instincts sharp. While the Moon is only move through and their encounter is brief, there is a lot of history and a lot of water has passed under the bridge on both fronts. Seven days after the North Node left your career sector, this has been a chance to tap back into the 18 months it has spent providing a sense of direction, while over two months after returning, Mercury is getting ready to hand the reins to Mars, who will return next week to begin his first war on income roadblocks and barriers in two years. Until Venus returns to begin the first planetary activity on the job front next month, this comes just as even the professional gods are taking a break, while the playful, creative and adventurous side of life’s fence is catching its second wind. What began with last week’s Full Moon in an adventurous part of your chart will continue when, on Friday Venus returns to begin the first planetary activity in a playful and creative part of your chart since last year.

Cancer    Cancer Monday 03 August 2026  Jun 22 - Jul 22
After last week’s intensity on both sides of the financial fence, things move back to a more level playing field and with a chance to let things settle before next week’s total solar eclipse in your income sector fires things up again. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of August in your income sector and the solar spotlight will always be on the income side of the financial fence at this time of year. At some point during the Sun’s month long visit there will be a Full Moon in your financial sector, which last week saw the Moon clash as it moved through and there will be a New Moon, something that can give income potential the green light. However, a direct result of the lunar nodes’ return to your two money houses last week will be that this will be a more powerful solar eclipse and last week’s Full Moon was a lot more intense. Both sides of the financial fence are still powered up, but they are no longer in conflict and instead, on both sides of the financial fence, support will be turning any financial tension into motivation.

Leo    Leo Monday 03 August 2026  Jul 23 - Aug 22
As you move into the second full week of your birthday month, in between last week’s intensity and next week’s eclipsing New Moon, there is a chance to let things settle and get back to the basic job of launching a new solar year. While last week’s alignment between the Sun and Jupiter got the Sun’s first full week in Leo off to an empowered start, this was as much about the launch of a 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion and the journey that the next 12 months will take you on. This also came at the same time that there was not only a Full Moon in your relationship sector, but after the lunar nodes had just returned last Monday to begin an 18 month policing of a balance between your own and your relationship needs. In contrast, this week begins with the Moon in an adventurous part of your chart and at a friendly aspect to the Sun and Jupiter before leaving on Wednesday. It is then that the Moon will return to your career sector in time to ensure your professional instincts are sharp as Mars prepares to leave next week and in Venus’ final days in your income sector before leaving on Friday.

Virgo    Virgo Monday 03 August 2026  Aug 23 - Sep 22
At the same time that you are heading into the second full week of the month long wind down of your old solar year, Venus is not only already in Virgo but is getting ready to leave on Friday. With the Sun still weeks away from his return to Virgo later in the month to begin your birthday month and new solar year, Venus is getting in first with a chance to give your heart a voice and a say in what you want from the coming year. At the same time, Venus’ early return is set to have implications, though not here and instead, after she returns to your income sector on Friday. This is over six weeks before the Sun’s return on the September equinox each year and so early that it will force Venus to slow down and eventually turn retrograde. Normally moving through in 24 days, by the time Venus leaves next month she will have been here for five weeks and her retrograde turn will see her return in October and not leave again until December. In the wake of last week’s Full Moon in your work sector and in time to catch Mars before he leaves your career sector next week, Venus is returning to kick off the most lucrative months of 2026.

Libra    Libra Monday 03 August 2026  Sep 23 - Oct 23
After last week’s Full Moon in a playful and creative part of your chart and now starting the week with the Moon moving through your relationship sector from Monday to Wednesday, you are perfectly placed to get the most out of Venus, the planet of love’s final days in a reflective part of your chart and as you prepare for her return to Libra on Friday. As Venus takes your heart on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, it is with both planets in a playful and creative part of your chart already in retrograde motion and all three planets in your relationship sector now in retrograde motion as well, all holding the doors open to the past. While Venus’ return to Libra on Friday will have her and your heart looking to the future, ready to hit the ground running as she returns to update your heart’s desires, hopes and aspirations for the coming year. Meanwhile, knowing that things are set to take a busier turn next week, Mars and the dwarf planet Ceres will be working to make their last full week in an adventurous part of your chart count.

Scorpio    Scorpio Monday 03 August 2026  Oct 24 - Nov 21
What a difference a few days can make. After not only clashing last week as a Full Moon, but just as the lunar nodes had returned to also monitor your work/life balance, the Moon’s return to your work sector on Monday will put it back in harmony with the Sun in your career sector. By the time the Moon leaves on Wednesday, it will have formed a friendly aspect to the Sun and Jupiter, who are separating from an alignment last week, while at the same time holding back ahead of next week’s total solar eclipse. After last week’s work/life balance reminders, the Moon’s first visit to your work sector since all three planets here turned retrograde will be another reminder to pace yourself. Meanwhile, the Moon’s return to your financial sector on Friday will be a chance to move into Mars and Ceres’ last weekend here with your financial instincts sharp. In the final days of Ceres’ deep dive into your financial needs and priorities, as they align over the weekend, this will give you a better sense of where to channel Mars’ financial passions and fighting spirit.

Sagittarius    Sagittarius Monday 03 August 2026  Nov 22 - Dec 21
At the same time that there are changes on the professional front this week, the week is getting off to an empowered start of the playful, creative and adventurous side of life’s fence, while the Moon will help to balance the two. It is on Monday, a week after the lunar nodes ended their 18 month monitoring of your work/life balance that the Moon will bring a short reminder, just as Venus is getting ready to leave your career sector on Friday. This will come just as the Moon is about to return to a playful and creative part of your chart, where as it moves through from Monday to Wednesday it will align with all three planets here and form a friendly aspect to the Sun and Jupiter in an adventurous part of your chart. It is while the Moon is here that the asteroid Chiron will turn retrograde in your work sector, something that the Moon’s return on Wednesday will get a better read on. With Venus working to get the most out of her final days in your career sector and the playful, creative and adventurous side of life’s fence remaining powered up, a work/life balance reminder has come with perfect timing.

Capricorn    Capricorn Monday 03 August 2026  Dec 22 - Jan 19
After the intensity on both sides of the financial fence last week, on both sides things have settled back, but there has been no backing down by either side. Last week’s Full Moon in your income sector is something that, at some point during the Sun’s month long visit to your financial sector will always see them clash, creating some competition and tension between the two sides of the financial fence. What made this more intense is that it not only came just as an alignment between the Sun and Jupiter was powering things up on the side of the financial fence where it is more about your financial situation and money matters as a whole, but just as the lunar nodes had returned to monitor a balance between money coming in and money going out. At the same time that the Sun and Jupiter will continue to power up money matters, on the income side of the financial fence, things are not only also powering up, but with the help of Mars in your work sector and of Venus, the planet of money when she returns to your career sector on Friday.

Aquarius    Aquarius Monday 03 August 2026  Jan 20 - Feb 18
What a difference just a few days can make. It was over the weekend that the Moon not only left Aquarius but brought to a close the Full Moon that had put pressure on the Sun and Jupiter in your relationship sector, just as the lunar nodes had returned to begin their 20 month policing of a balance between your own and your relationship needs. Not only has this left you feeling more personally empowered, which support from the planets on the playful, creative and adventurous side of life’s fence will continue to support but has also left you with a better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. If this did create any personal and/or relationship tension, not only will this be starting to ease, but as the Moon moves through your communication sector from Monday to Wednesday, its friendly aspect to the Sun and Jupiter in your relationship sector will help to get the communication lines open. Meanwhile, until Venus returns to an adventurous part of your chart on Friday and just in time for the weekend, in her final days in your financial sector she will be working to update your financial desires, hopes and aspirations.

Pisces    Pisces Monday 03 August 2026  Feb 19 - Mar 20
While the Full Moon that last week put pressure on the Sun and Jupiter in your work sector is behind you and the Moon has moved on, the reminder this brought won’t be easy to dismiss. This is a Full Moon that at some point during the Sun’s month long transit through your work sector will see them clash, putting how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off to the test. The difference this time is that Jupiter’s return to your work sector at the end of June has brought you to the start of your biggest year for job growth and expansion in over a decade and it wasn’t just the Moon sending that message. Two days before the Moon’s return to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, the lunar nodes began a 20 month policing of how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off, something that will continue for the rest of Jupiter’s time in your work sector. While Mars and the dwarf planet Ceres’ return to a playful and creative part of your chart next week will help to keep things balanced, the Moon’s return to your income sector from Monday to Wednesday will make it easier to work smarter.
